This is lunch for one person, and it’s super fast to make!  I eat this almost every week when I’m working.

It’s actually better with ground beef.  The instructions are mostly the same.

And yes as it really only takes 7 min to make

Hoisin Chicken & Ramen Noodles

  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 package ramen noodles Gluten free
  • 4 oz chicken cooked (or raw ground beef)
  • 2-4 scallions sliced thin 1/4 inch
  • 1 tbsp Hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce (optional)
  • 1 cup lettuce chopped


  • Get water boiling for the noodles while you chop up the other ingredients:
  • In a large pan, cook minced garlic for 30 seconds
  • (If making with ground beef, add the ground beef now to the pan with the garlic and stir to cook)
  • Then add scallions to the pan and cook for about 2 min - till the scallions look done
  • Take chicken cut into cubes.  About 4 oz or so (you can use any protein you wish)
  • Put in ramen to cook as per package instructions
  • Mix in Hoisin sauce and if it gets dry, add either water or chicken broth to moisten.
  • Once noodles are done, mix all items together and serve
